Tales from the Asphalt Sea

This is a place for stuff that has no other place.  You might find stories, videos, pictures, who know what.  It is stuff that doesn't fit in anywhere else.

There are two types of people in the world.  People that look at driving as a necessary evil, and people who enjoy the journey as much, or more than, the destination.  I am one of the latter type, and I assume you are too, or you wouldn't be reading this. 

There are mystical elements to the Road (with a capital R).  It is a hard thing to deny.  Whether you are in a sweet Porsche, or an old Toyota beater, long road trips can have a spiritual side to them.
